A good idea can go a long way!

Merseyside & Cheshire HIEC is offering funding awards of between £15K – 40K to support the adoption and diffusion of proven innovations across Merseyside and Cheshire.

Do you know about a new innovation in healthcare which would make a difference to patients and help reduce costs?

Have you heard about a new approach in learning which will help those who care for patients and their families make a real difference to their lives?

If so, we may be able to provide financial assistance to support your project.

Awards will be made to projects which match up to the following criteria:

  • Innovation Adoption
  • Relevance to QIPP agenda – anticipated ROI
  • Contribution made to knowledge acquisition and transfer
  • Evidence of collaboration and dissemination
  • Impact on patient care / services / workforce development

Please take the time to complete the MCHIEC form as fully as possible.  The form has been designed with expandable boxes to enable a full description of project activity and anticipated outcomes. Please do not attach documents to the Form. Funding awards of between £15K – 40K will be awarded to successful applicants. All bids will be considered and evaluated on merit.

The deadline for receipt of completed bids is noon on 19 March 2012. Recommendations will be presented to the MCHIEC board in April 2012.
